Log In Instructions

  1. In your web browser, type this URL: http://www.txwes.edu (press the enter key)

  2. Look toward the lower right hand corner of the Texas Wesleyan University website and you will see a campus services section.

  3. Click the down arrow to the right of the selection box and click on the WebCT option.

  4. Click the "Go To Service" button and the Texas Wesleyan WebCT homepage will appear.

  5. You will find the "WebCT Login" button on the right side within the quick links section.

  6. Click the "WebCT Login" button and enter in your WebCT login and password.

  7. Click the "Log in" button to enter your "MyWebCT" screen.
Getting your WebCT ID and Password

Students

  1. In your web browser, type this URL: http://www.txwes.edu (press the enter key)

  2. Look toward the lower right hand corner of the Texas Wesleyan University website and you will see a campus services section.

  3. Click the down arrow to the right of the selection box and click on the WebCT option.

  4. Click the "Go To Service" button and the Texas Wesleyan WebCT homepage will appear.

  5. You will find the "My WebCT ID" button on the right side within the quick links section.

  6. Click on the “My WebCT ID” button and enter in your last name and either your social security number or your university student ID number.

  7. Click “Submit” and you will be presented with your WebCT / RamLink Login.

  8. Click on the “Proceed to Step 2” link and you will receive the instructions for your temporary password.

  9. Click on the “change my password” link and enter in your new login and temporary password to access the password update page.

  10. Enter in your temporary password once and the new password you would like to have twice where prompted and click the “Change Password” button.

  11. You are now ready to login to WebCT using the login instruction printed above.

Students Please Note: All of your courses may not have WebCT components. If this is the case you will not see that course available in WebCT. If you are sure that your course has a WebCT component but do not see the course listed within WebCT, be sure to contact your instructor. They will be able to add you to their course without the necessity of contacting ATW.

Faculty

Your WebCT ID and password will be the same as your university network login information.

If you have any questions regarding course content or structure always consult your instructor first. If your concerns are of a more technical nature, such as not being able to login or not seeing your course on the MyWebCT home page, you can submit a Technical Assistance Request Form to ATW.
