Head Table Tennis Coach Aug. 2001 to  Feb. 2006

Christian is responsible for recruiting, administration and coaching the University's Table Tennis Team. He also assists the President in representing the University in international advancement. The team won  3 major titles in the US National Championships, Men’s singles, Men’s & Women’s doubles in 2001.

Christian has worked with Table Tennis as a Sports Leader for over 30 years in 35 Countries, as a Coach, a Player and Tournament Organizer.

COACH
Coached national team in Sweden, Canada, USA, and Mexico.

COACH EDUCATOR
Certified coaches in Sweden, USA, Malaysia, Mexico, Bermuda, South Africa, Taiwan, and Canada.

PLAYER
5 times USA college doubles champion, highest USATT rating 2334. Played division 2 in Sweden.

TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER
Organized international tournaments in 16 countries (USA, Mexico, Argentina, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, South Africa, Taiwan, China, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong.) Numerous National tournaments in Sweden, USA, and Mexico.

ORGANIZATIONAL SPORTS LEADERSHIP
Sports Leadership: Chairperson of the International Governing body for Table Tennis Athletes with a disability, the International Paralympic Table Tennis Committee, from 1996 to present.

IPTTC 1996
3 tournaments/year 496 active international athletes, 7 active people in the organization

IPTTC 2004
28 tournaments/year, 2200 active athletes, 29 active people and the annual budget have grown 10 times stronger.

PROFESSIONAL INTERNATIONAL SPORTS ADMINISTRATOR
Worked as Director of Sport for the International Paralympic Committee, which is the International Governing body for all sports for athletes with a disability with 160 member nations and 25 sports, with its International Headquarters in Germany. It is the counterpart to the International Olympic Committee. Directly in charge of the operation for 13 International governing Sport Federations, and supervising 12 more International sports federations. By many considered the second highest Sport administration position in the world after the Sports Director for the International Olympic Committee.

INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATION
Invited to receptions by Heads of State in Croatia, Taiwan, Mexico, and Australia. Invited by City Mayors or similar Tapei City, Taiwan; Shanghai, China; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Bonn, Germany; Johannesburg, South Africa; Mexico City, Mexico; Zagreb, Croatia and Torino, Italy.

CREATOR OF PROGRAMS IN USA
Started the Table Tennis College program at Anderson College in 1986, and at Texas Wesleyan University 2001. The Santa Fe Table Tennis Club in Oklahoma City, OK.

AWARDS
USOC National Table Tennis Coach of the Year 2 times 1997 and 2002.

In Sweden was given the “Leadership Plaque” in 1980 by the Swedish Table Tennis Association for the initiative to include disabled event in able bodied tournaments.
