TO PADDLE FOR CHARITY
"Paddle with the Pro's"! Blade,
Block, Chop, Smash and Spin! NBA Legend Clyde Drexler and Houston
Car Czar Lea DeMontrond are pleased to announce the inaugural
Thunderspin 2004 Table Tennis Tournament to be held at Drexler 's
World Famous BBQ in Oct. 2004
Watch as Clyde Drexler goes head-to-head with Astro's Super-Star
Roger Clemens and other sports legends including the Texan's Chris
Brown and Steve McKinney; the Miami Dolphin A.J. Feeley; San
Antonio Spur Robert Horry, and others... this is no kid's game! The
tournament will also feature some of the Nation's best table tennis
players showcasing their talents including Texas Wesleyan University
national champions; Eric Owens, Jim Butler, Biljana Golic, Courtney
Roberts, and Sabrina Worrell; and World renowned Paralympic
champions Mitchell Seidenfelt and Parapanamerican champion Andre
Scott.
Celebrity players will be putting their hearts on the line as they
compete for charitable donations for their favorite organizations.
Amateur participants shall be competing for unique prizes including
cash, Segway Human Transporters, and other items. This day-long
event will include two sessions beginning at noon on the 5th and
will include celebrity matches, professional matches, and tournament
finals as well as a VIP party.
Entry into this fast and furious tournament is open to all
recreational table tennis players and registration information can
