Aaron Whaley begins his first season
as head JV coach for the Rams, after spending the last two
season as the starting point guard for Texas Wesleyan.
Whaley helped lead the Rams to the NAIA Elite Eight his
junior season. He started every game for the Rams the
last two season and led the team in assists and three-point
accuracy. He also finished first in the conference in
three-point shooting and was named honorable mention
all-conference.
A native of Chapman, Kansas, Whaley also competed at Pratt
Community College for one season. |
Whaley graduated this summer with a bachelor's degree in sports
management from Texas Wesleyan. He is also in charge of Intramural
sport on campus and is the Student Activity director. He also
played in USATT sanctioned tournament before he came to Texas
Wesleyan and his highest USATT rating is 1526.
I am pursuing my
Graduate Degree as well in Sports Management. Interesting fact, I
have played in 4 different levels of basketball---JUCO, NCAA DIV
II, NCAA DIV III, and NAIA DIV I.
A true all-round athlete.
